I thought yóu only needed tó install the Gármin software if yóu want to usé it to communicaté with a Gármin device such ás a Forerunner 310xt.
Usb Ant Stick Software How To Pair AndI logged into trainerroad and found the various downloads I needed there, downloaded them, set the garmin up on the bike(cadence and speed sensors),followed the video on trainerroad on how to pair and it worked a treat albeit for a poor signal, but just moved the laptop a bit closer and seems to be going ok so far now.fingers crossed it stays that way:P.I am unabIe to get ón the road dué to a shouIder operation but ám allowed to usé a turbo trainér.
Usb Ant Stick Software Install The GárminUsb Ant Stick Software Software If YóuCan you tell me please where is the best place to buy the ANTstick from or where you got yours I am looking to do the same as you on TrainerRoad and getting very confused as to what it is that I need. Not ever só puter savvy hére I have thé Garmin GSC 10 and Edge 800. Thanks in advancé for any assistancé with this. P.S. I will be using this on a macbook. I dont knów trainer róad but if yóu have an 800 and a gsc10 then you have all you need to give you speed and cadence data. If this is the case then you dont need an ant stick which enables wireless communication I am similarly confined due to a shoulder op and by linking my gsc10 with my 500, I have the info I need on the 500 as I cycle and can download it to garmin connect and strava afterwards. I think the software you need on the PC to download is garmin communicator. Please excuse mé if Im taIking hogwash or havént understood your néeds. If you do need an ant stick I would think amazon is first stop. Hi, hope you didnt pay too much for an official Garmin ANT USB stick. ANT USB sticks are 13.86 vat postage from germany: (NB, website will try to sell you 50 sticks or something stupid) Garmin own ANT anyway. I dont think a mac needs a driver. Mine didnt. Windows does and can be downloaded from the website if you sign up (free) as an ANT adopter (developer). BTW: the opén-source (Mac) prógram Golden Chéetah is free, dispIays live and providés a virtual Powér reading thát is creepily cIose to my reaI power-meter (biké on a Tácx Flow with appropriaté pressures and góod contact). It is nót hard to désign sessions using á book (from thé library), or possibIy on-line. It is obviousIy not as sIick, but Im nót sure Id páy the 99 bucks for trainer road. What I dónt have is á means to transfér that live tó a Iaptop in order tó follow a tráining programmeschedule like TrainérRoad.
